The Founding Season

Founding Season

World Cup Passport Challenge

21 BIAs + 500 Employers + 5,000 Jobseekers

The CME Founding Season is how we activate the economic loop that circulates opportunity back into the communities that make it possible, before the World Cup arrives.

What Is the Founding Season?

The Founding Season is the early phase of the platform where communities, businesses, and jobseekers come together to activate the CME ecosystem.

Three founding groups (21 BIAs, 500 Employers, and 5,000 Jobseekers) each contribute to the system in a different way. Together, they create the activity that fuels the Community Impact Engine.

The goal is simple: activate the economic loop that circulates opportunity back into the communities that make it possible.

Risk-Free Early Access

Subscriptions purchased during the Founding Season do not begin billing until the official CME 2.0 launch. Early participants receive full platform access immediately while helping refine the system before global rollout.

This is a testing phase. Your participation helps finalize the platform and train the intelligence systems that power matching, trust scoring, and community impact.

The Three Founding Groups

Each group plays a different role. Together they create the activity that powers the platform.

The Milestone

Unlocking the Free Lunch Initiative

The Free Lunch Initiative is one of the most visible milestones of the Founding Season. When districts reach certain participation levels, funding is unlocked through the CIE.

Local restaurants host Free Lunch events. Economic activity flows back into the neighborhood. These events celebrate the participation of businesses, jobseekers, and the communities that helped activate the district.

Every founding member who participates moves their district closer to this milestone.

The Six-BIA Coalition

For the World Cup launch, the six selected Toronto BIAs operate as a single BIA Coalition. Their combined participation helps reach community funding thresholds faster than any single district could alone.

CME generates a Global Donation Pool tied to platform activity. Districts that reach participation thresholds activate funding first. If a BIA does not participate, those resources activate in other participating districts instead.

The BIA Coalition model ensures that collaboration accelerates impact for every neighborhood involved.

Why the Founding Season Matters

The World Cup brings energy. The Founding Season makes it last.

By activating the economic loop early, CME ensures that World Cup energy translates into something lasting: stronger hiring connections, more visible local businesses, engaged districts, and community reinvestment.
